Step 1. Laying out our paper, or sketchpad horizontally (as shown). Visually or using a pencil divide the page into two. Draw a vertical rectangle on the right side of the page/ divide using a pencil.

Step 2. Using a pencil round out the bottom corners.

Step 3. Erase the sharp corners on the bottom leaving our round corners. Draw hair on top, v shaped hairline with volume on top. Keep using a pencil! Pencil is a great tool to create an outline as it's forgiving towards mistakes and you can always erase and re-draw.

Step 4. Erase construction lines of the rectangle, so only the hair is shown. 1/3 down draw two small circles for eyes, starting at the same height as the eyes draw a nose, in the shape of an oval going down. 2/3 way down draw the top lip only. Keep using a pencil! Pencil is a great tool to create an outline as it's forgiving towards mistakes and you can always erase and re-draw.

Step 6. Time for glasses. Top frame drawn as a straight line with a swoop down for over the nose part. Bottom half circles under eyes and into a frame on the sides. Use a pencil, it will allow you to erase and re-draw as many times as you need to get it right.

Step 9. Write Happy Father's Day under the drawing. If hand lettering isn't your thing, start with a pencil, get it to what you want and then outline using 08 black fine liner.  We added hearts, of course, next to happy.

Step 10. Pages in NIL Tech white sketchpad are perforated and easy to remove. Fold along the perforated line in each direction and remove. Fold along the middle. Voila! Father's Day card is done.

Don't forget to add the best of wishes on the inside. We came up with a little poem you are welcome to use:

In a world so big, with skies so blue,
There's a special dad, and that is you.
With a heart so warm, and arms so wide,
You're always there, right by our side.

From scraped knees to dreams held high,
You cheer us on, you're our biggest ally.
You teach us to be brave and strong,
And show us love all day long.

With bear hugs and silly jokes,
You make us laugh till our bellies poke.
You're our superhero, our guiding light,
Protecting us with all your might.

On this special day, we want to say,
Thank you, Dad, in our own sweet way.
You're the best dad we could ever find,
In our hearts, forever, you'll shine.

So here's to you, our dad so dear,
May your day be filled with love and cheer.
Happy Father's Day, with all our love,
Sent from your little stars above.

    Happy Father's Day!
