Cruella de Vil is an old-school friend of Anita Radcliffe and a glamor-obsessed heiress who declares that she can not live without furs. She hires Horace and Jasper Badun, two inexperienced crooks, to steal Pongo and Perdita's 15 Dalmatian puppies, and buys 84 more through legitimate means.
1. Cruella de Vil's live-action reference model voices another Disney character.
Mary Wickes, who provides the voice of Laverne inThe Hunchback of Notre Dame, also served as the live-action reference model for Cruella de Vil. Barbara Luddy, the voice actress who plays Lady inLady and the Tramp, and Merryweather inSleeping Beauty, was used for Nanny.
2.Cruella was animated by only one artist.
Though previous Disney movies assigned a team of several artists to work on a particular character, Marc Davis was the only artist who drew and animated Cruella De Vil.
3. Personality
Cruella is known to be mean and rude, frequently barging into other people's homes unannounced and openly disrespecting others. She adores attention but looks down on others, showing no sympathy or concern for anyone's well-being.
4. Cruella is a skinny lady
Cruella is a skinny woman that almost appears skeletal around the curves. She has pale skin, red lips, green eyes, and eye shadow. She has shoulder-length hair, the two halves of a different color; the right side is black, and the left side is white.
5. Cruella is known to be short-tempered.
She gets annoyed with Jasper and Horace's foolishness, and throws a tantrum when things don't go her way. Her anger seems to be a problem, as it makes her reckless and impulsive, as she drove her car recklessly after the Dalmatians but ended up crashing her car into a ravine.
In this tutorial we used the following supplies:
STEPBYSTEP10
Step 1. We begin construction by drawing the middle line of the figure, as well as a straight line for the shoulders. We then outline the location of the head with a circle on top. (Pencil B)
Step 2. Draw a middle line in the circle and draw the shape of the head, as well as outline the line of the eyes, nose and mouth. We also outline the movement of the hands with the lines, and below the length of the fur coat and dress. (Pencil B)
Step 3. Focusing on the line, draw Cruella's face, then draw her hair and earrings. Next, we move on to the drawing of the fur coat, add a bag to the right hand and mark the direction of the legs with lines below. (Pencil B)
Step 4. Remove all unnecessary construction lines and move on to drawing the remaining elements, such as hair, fur coats, bag, legs, dress and brushes. (Pencil B)
Step 5. Remove all the remaining unnecessary construction lines and outline the contour with colored pencils. We outline the spots, the lower right part of the fur coat, the eyes and the left part of the hair in black. We outline the rest of the fur coat, the right part of the hair and the fur on the bag in blue. The dress, shoes, gloves and lips are red, the skin is beige, and the bag with gray is turquoise. (Colored pencils black, blue, turquoise, red, beige)
Step 6. Paint the spots with black with a dense tone, and on all other colored parts we make the general tone according to the color of the outline. (Colored pencils black, turquoise, red, beige)
Step 7. Let's move on to a more detailed drawing. We work on the hair and the lower right part of the fur coat with black, also paint over the light parts on it with blue. We work on the dress, shoes and lips in red, and the shadows in purple and burgundy. Enhance the turquoise color on the bag and earrings. (Colored pencils black, blue, purple, burgundy, red, turquoise)
Step 8. Since all the other parts of the fur coat and hair are white, we only make the shadows blue on them to add volume. Next, draw the face. We make the eyes green, the eyebrows black, and the shadows brown, and we also make them on the legs. We make spots on the fur on the bag with black. (Colored pencils black, green, blue, brown)
