Kings Daughter

The King's Daughter is an American action-adventure fantasy film directed by Sean McNamara from a screenplay by Barry Berman and James Schamus. It is based on the 1997 novel The Moon and the Sun by Vonda N. Mclyntyre. The film stars Pierce Brosnan as King Louis XIV, Kaya Scodelario as Marie-Josèphe, and Benjamin Walker as Yves De La Croix.

 Kings DaughterStep 1. We begin drawing the basic shape guidelines and circles. To outline the mermaid. (Pencil B)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 2. Based on the construction line made on the previous step, draw the outline of the mermaid. (Pencil B)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 3. Next is to remove unnecessary construction lines and draw the fins. (Pencil B)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 4. Remove the remaining unnecessary guidelines. Add the texture lines on the fins and hair. (Pencil B)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 5. Start working on the colors by making the general tone of the mermaid. We use beige for the body and blue for the fins. (Colored pencils beige, blue)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 6. Let's start working on the body. For the shadows, we use ocher and also enhance beige. (Colored pencils beige, ocher)

 

 Kings DaughterStep 7. The last step is to work on the tail and fins. For the shadows, use blue, enhance the blue and make the highlights yellow. (Colored pencils blue, cyan, yellow)
